About Wanda-Lynn Searles
Hello and welcome to Lynn's Photography & Green Art. She's a photographer/green art artist. The first time Wanda-Lynn first took a second look at a camera is when she was around six or seven years old. It wasn’t long before an interest in photography began to develop. During trips to Vermont to visit family Wanda-Lynn made sure to take time to have a photography day. She is especially fond of old barns, covered bridges, flowers, and sunsets. The images are all captured with Nikon cameras and lenses. Her Green Art is a unique method of using Photoshop to recycle photos of poor quality. The images are enhanced with scenery and designs creating new photos with one-of-a-kind looks. Wanda-Lynn has struggles with a disability and her found that photography is her expression of success. She feels blessed to have a photographic talent and is usually not seen without her camera in tow even on casual errands. Her family and friends have inspired her to continue her photography and she is hopeful that she can continue to create her beautiful images and that her journey is never-ending. Wanda-Lynn’s work can be seen in the May 2013 volume of Capture My Vermont II, a published book of the best of Vermont photography. While thousands of photographs were submitted, her photo of “The Chittenden Mill” and “Upper Covered Bridge” were chosen for publication.
